ABOUT ROB MCATEE

With over 20 years in the flat roofing and waterproofing industry, I’ve worked across contracting, manufacturing, product development, and distribution within the UK market.Today, my focus is clear:Driving higher standards, stronger long-term thinking, and better industry relationships across the GRP and liquid roofing sectors.Through LRC (Liquid Roofing Consultants), I work independently with merchants, contractors, and commercial clients to strengthen product understanding, improve margins, and support better decision-making across liquid and waterproofing systems.My approach is practical and experience-led — helping businesses build confidence in what they sell, how they sell it, and how they support their customers.Where appropriate, I also support developers, property managers, and commercial clients by helping them navigate the roofing and waterproofing landscape - ensuring they are aligned with the right contractors, systems, and manufacturers for their specific project requirements.The focus is always on long-term performance, suitability, and doing things properly - not just product selection.Alongside this, I lead McAtee Moving Mountains a community initiative supporting dads, families, and mental health through outdoor challenges, real conversations, and positive action.After decades in the trade, my mission remains consistent:Build stronger businesses, support good people, and raise standards across the industry.Always open to genuine conversations and collaborative opportunities.
