I lead PwC\'s mid market Business Recovery Services practice in London and the South East. I have worked in the restructuring arena for over 23 years, advising businesses, their funders and other stakeholders. This advice has included turnaround, cost reduction, accelerated M&A transactions, stakeholder management, financial review and restructuring and insolvency. I am a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner. Some of my more recent experience includes- the sale of the quarrying business of FH Gilman & Co, together with the realisation of an extensive property portfolio- the sale of Exeter Airport- the sale of Alexandra plc, a supplier of uniforms, workwear and corporate work clothing- the sale of Smallbone plc, the iconic designer and manufacturer of kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms- the sale of the British School of Motoring, the national driving school business- advising a family business around the various aspects of turnaround, including sales growth and cost reduction- advising the lenders to a large manufacturing business on the restructuring of complex debt facilities- advising the trustees of the pension scheme of a listed business around the strength of the employer covenant.
