GH Labs was created by Gates Ventures with a mandate to improve primary health care in low resource settings. I lead a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to to create and support novel product development with impact. We have a focus in diagnostics, particularly low cost, higher performance point of care NAAT tests, use of machine learning to improve performance of imaging systems such as microscopy, cell phones, and ultrasound as well as diagnostic and digital tools to strengthen primary health care facilities.
