   Processes institutional scholarships; academic, endowment, athletic, tuition assistance grants, to include scholarships and grants from state, external agencies, etc. Serves as backup to the management staff with regard interpreting scholarship guidelines pertaining scholarship and grant in aid programs Advises parents and students in person on all inquiries relating to scholarships and grant-n-aid Assists parents and students with the completion of required forms Responds directly to student and parent inquiries pertaining to scholarships and grant assistance; Processes paperwork for scholarship and grant funding for all internal and external entities Understands and maintains current knowledge of NCAA financial aid awards guidelines Ensures student awards do not exceed the total cost of attendance or over-awarded Serves as the principal point of contact on scholarship and grant matters for the Financial Aid Counselors Process scholarship tuition assistance checks from outside sources Assists and performs reconciliation of the TAG program, Financial Aid Data file, NCAA Reports, Higher Education Surveys, etc Assists with updating the unit’s website, Twitter account, etc Assists the unit Director on all technical reports
