   Established Analytics as the first permanent team at Highspot, and scaled the team from 7 people into a 40-person, 4-team pillar • Designed and developed a flexible and performant GraphQL-based query layer • Reviewed and advised on architectures and served as a technical consultant for teams throughout the 150-person engineering organization • Worked directly with C-suite and product leadership to develop technical and strategic goals • Mentored 20+ engineers, from junior to principal, leading to promotions including from senior to principal levels • Frequent speaker on both Analytics architecture and overall Highspot architecture • Ran Clojure office hours, a weekly conversation to share interesting Clojure features and address specific developer needs • Worked with the company all-hands organizers to increase visibility of engineering wins and strategic projects • Designed a multi-tiered architecture to deliver analytical experiences anywhere within the Highspot product • Instituted a robust set of testing practices to ensure correctness and reliability with generative testing; composable, container-based integration testing; and traditional unit tests • Developed multiple frontend experiences for data visualization and report generation • Created testable and composable design patterns that have been adopted across the engineering organization • Worked in a traditional on-call rotation org-wide and a 24/7 shared on-call within the Analytics pillar • Helped drive Highspot’s open source policies.
