Driving New Nuclear Supply Chain growth initiatives with a big focus on the Ontario Supply Chain across both Direct and Indirect areas of spend in support of the First of a Kind (FOAK) SMR-X (BWRX-300) 4 Unit Project in Darlington, Ontario. I lead the Darlington New Nuclear Project on all Procurement & Supply Chain activities, collaborating and innovating with our trusted IPD Partners (GEH, Aecon and Atkins Realis) on OPG\'s 4-unit SMR (BWRX-300) strategy.Spearheading the procurement of all materials and services required in the build of the BWRX-300 powerplant using the full array of capabilities of both OPG and Partner Procurement organisations. My team\'s remit includes all upstream strategic sourcing and downstream contract management activities covering the full portfolio of all design, manufacture/supply contracts and partnership/alliance frameworks across a global supply chain.Further to this my extended responsibilities include Project Governance and Oversight of all Procurement and Contract Management, project Warehousing and Materials Management, adherence to Public Procurement requirements aswell as accountability for achieving the projects localization and Indigenous / ED & I project goals. The added complexity that is a FOAK project only adds to the rewards that come from setting the project up for success through the development of a culture of collaboration under an Integrated Project Delivery model and developing a multi discipline team capable of managing critical contracts from sourcing to commissioning.
