About Rob Garretson

With nearly three decades of experience in strategic leadership, corporate governance and regulatory compliance management, Rob Garretson has worked in-house at both publicly traded and private companies, where he played a critical leadership role in implementing the transformations of the legal, compliance, and government affairs functional areas of the corporations. He provides critical guidance related to maximizing efficiencies, controlling costs, and identifying opportunities to reduce expenditures through more effective communication and management. With broad, high-level experience in the United States Navy and the private sector, Rob has a keen understanding of the compliance challenges pervading today’s evolving regulatory market. He has extensive experience operating in global settings, analyzing complex issues, advising clients, creating uniform standards and ensuring adherence to laws, regulations and internal policies. Prior to entering the private sector, Rob served for over 20 years as an active duty officer in the United States Navy, serving operationally in a number of naval aviation squadrons.

Rob works to implement functional excellence practices and see to it that the Department operates at the highest ethical and governance standards while ensuring that our legal services are consistent with PMI\'s Energy 4 Growth philosophies.
