Currently a Security Specialist with Hydro One, assigned to Special Projects - Personnel Security. Responsible for event security planning, personnel and executive protection. Formerly the Deputy Director of Protective Services Section of the OPP, responsible for the safety/security of the Premier of Ontario, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, Members of Provincial Cabinet, and visiting Dignitaries and government officials as requested. Previously a Prosecutor with the Office of Professionalism, Respect, Inclusion and Leadership of the OPP. Responsible for the prosecution of police officer formal discipline under the authority of the Police Services Act of Ontario. Previously was the Staff Sergeant – Section Manager, Justice Officials Protection and Investigations Section (JOPIS); the first unit of its kind in Canada. Accurately identifies trends and emerging issues to mitigate incidents prior to the onset of violent action taking place upon Justice Officials (judicial, police, correctional) and government officials, including the Premier of Ontario. Responsible for the operation/administration of the OPP physical security and technical surveillance countermeasures programs.
