Responsible for the delivery of a provincial drinking water safety program, and other centrally delivered program services on behalf of the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) and First Nations communities in each region.• Planning and managing the delivery of the program provincially, including funding, training, education and awareness• Manage Our Community Our Water Grant program• Lead development of program policy and represent FNHA on national and provincial committees and working groups focused on drinking water safety• Establish and maintain a professional partnership with Indigenous Service Canada (ISC); Various BC Ministries; Office of the Provincial Health Officer and other stakeholder groups• Work closely together with ISC on long and short term advisories and challenging files• Provide direct EHO and community support during public health emergencies and challenging files • Manage all external drinking water related contracts for certified labs and other services• Support the development and management of FNHA’s Drinking Water Data Management System• Support First Nations operators both through education opportunities and certification
