About Rob Fisher

I like to work on cutting edge technology that allows me to learn new skills and test my ability to integrate everything together. Starting around I began working with HPUX clustering technology and I have continued to pick up new technologies including virtualization, OpenStack and Kubernetes. The most challenging and fun part of each of these technologies is learning how to utilize their features in a telecom environment where networking and throughput are the key elements. Each time a new technology comes out we strive to build a base platform that has a robust network. We test this platform with many network based applications to make it stronger and improve the features. Every day brings a new challenge and gives me the ability to learn something new. Each day I strive to be kind to those around me, learn as much as possible, do what I can to improve my surroundings, listen to others and enjoy what I do.
