ABOUT ROB FIELD
In 2016, I made a significant career transition from my role as an IT Team Leader in London to pursuing a new path as a (CELTA qualified) Business English Trainer in the vibrant city of Milan, Italy. This decision allowed me to follow my passion for language education and explore a different professional landscape. Today, I am self-employed and have established productive collaborations with Avalon (and other companies/individuals), where I design, manage and implement comprehensive Business English courses, lessons and assessments, in classes varying from A1 to C2 level. This role has enabled me to leverage my IT, business and teaching expertise while offering valuable language services to individuals and businesses in Milan. It\'s been a rewarding journey that has not only allowed me to develop professionally but also to immerse myself in the rich cultural and business environment of Milan. PREVIOUS ROLE IN LONDON ITIL and Prince 2 qualified IT Team Leader & Project Manager with significant experience gained within the fast-paced, complex, global environment of Shell Trading. Offers proven ability to motivate service teams to become more customer-focused in service delivery and communications and achieve SLAs. Acknowledged for having the necessary communication skills to understand IT issues and be able to discuss them with the business in a non-technical manner.
