For the past 20 years, as an Emmy-nominated producer, writer, and director of documentaries for every top-rated TV network and pay TV service, I have learned how to overcome logistical challenges, unexpected disasters, and larger-than-life personalities to deliver compelling and engaging real-life stories for millions of consumers.In just the last ten years, I have produced over 300 hours of programming for over two dozen of the top channels and networks, including A&E, CBS, PBS, History Channel, National Geographic, Discovery, SyFy, and ESPN. In 2025, Rob along with his business partner and wife Cindy Dorfmann sold two true crime series -\"What Happened to Noah\" to Netflix and \"My Uncles Escaped Alcatraz\" to Discovery Channel.What drives my passion is an enduring curiosity about the human condition: how we work, play, interact, invent, fight, heal, succeed, or fail. This curiosity has taken me to the war in Afghanistan, brought me face-to-face with Charles Manson, and put me in the back seat of countless police cars patrolling the dangerous streets of American cities. I have been fortunate to often find myself in the right place at the right time when history decides to reveal itself.Each production provides a unique opportunity for me to explore a different microcosm of society, business or culture, such as the unique athletic, social and professional environment of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), which I produced as the highly rated “Ultimate Fighter” for 6 seasons on Spike TV.Accomplished leaders fascinate me, and I’ve interviewed experts, and legends, from politics to science, sports, and entertainment, including Clint Eastwood, Secretary of State James Baker, and Gary Ridgeway aka The Green River Killer.Beyond news and entertainment, video has become increasingly dominant as the medium individuals, organizations, and brands use to communicate, collaborate, tell stories, and drive sales. In this stimulating environment, I look forward to using my skills and talents to reach even more people, and to help new clients tell their stories, solve their problems, and inspire audiences with their message and their vision.In 2022 Rob along with his wife and business partner launched a true crime podcast titled \"Partners In True Crime,\" to date the podcast is rated 52 in the TOP 80 podcasts for all podcasts.
