Logistics Management Specialist responsible for performing a wide range of complex tasks to develop, analyze, evaluate, advise on, and enhance the procedures for aviation project coordination and development. Further responsibilities for analyzing relationships of logistics programs, developing and evaluating long- and short-range support plans/policies, and coordinating overall logistics for aviation systems.• Performs analytical review/assessment, and evaluates task requirements for the development and execution of project phases. Conducts comprehensive facility planning/projects execution in support of objectives. • Identify and implement solutions for mission readiness to fix facilities problems in a timely manner as dictated by policy, management and requirements. Analyze/interpret Inter-Service Agreements (ISAs) to ensure logistics coordination and project requirements are met. • Correlates requirements with program plans to assure that needed support is provided. Integrates actions into a comprehensive logistics plan to be incorporated into overall program plans. Monitors progress toward meeting the logistics plan while identifying the cause/impact of delays or other problems.• Adjusts plans/schedules for all related actions as required by delays or changes to requirements. • Evaluates plans for and provision of logistical support for feasibility, efficiency, and economy, and to develop alternatives when required. • Assist with the acquisition and training of personnel and the development of training support.• Defines and implements new initiatives, recommends efficiencies, and streamlining business related initiatives. • Collects, reviews and performs analyses on metrics data, provides management with probable impacts on customer needs relevant to current strategies and initiatives. • Conducts research, analyzes performance trends, implements benchmarking techniques, and technological advances to improving processes to improve efficiency.
