Responsible for the sales, design and implementation of energy-efficiency and renewable-energy projects at this energy start-up. Groom Energy (Dalkia\'s predecessor) was named to the Inc. list for four consecutive years and acquired by DK Energy US, a subsidiary of EDF France, the world’s largest producer of electricity with $85 billion in revenue and employees.Dalkia provides a full spectrum of energy and low-carbon solutions for corporations across the US. We consult, design, engineer, install, finance, monitor and maintain energy-technology projects for our customers, helping them save money and reduce their carbon footprint.Highlights:• Combined Heat and Power (CHP): Sold, designed, permitted, and implemented our first CHP system. Obtained utility rebates and managed renewable Alternative Energy Credit revenue. Managed maintenance of the CHP operating the equivalent of > miles/year. • Solar PV: Sold, managed the design, permitted, and implemented our first PV system. Since that early start, I’ve been instrumental in developing and implementing multiple MW of roof-mounted solar projects, avoiding > metric tons of CO2e per year.• Energy assessments: Building on a track record covering > 500 million cubic feet of refrigerated and freezer space and > 100 commercial and industrial sites, energy-efficiency measures identified and implemented by these assessments result in savings of multiple millions of dollars and associated carbon emissions as confirmed by sophisticated M+V metrics.• Energy storage: Evaluate and install battery, thermal and compressed-air storage systems taking advantage of federal, state, and local utility incentives to significantly reduce OPEX and avoid thousands of tons of CO2e emissions per year.
