ABOUT ROB COLLINS
With a strong passion for Marketing and advertising, I started my career in the Marketing Department for the American technology company, BlueStar Distribution. During my time there, I learnt a range of new skills and implemented the skills that I had learned both at University and other courses. I also learnt how a range of different cultures worked within both a European and Global Marketing team.I then progressed to the \'Grade 1\' Ofsted Outstanding Apprenticeship Provider, where I used my skills and experience to help inform and inspire both young people and businesses about Apprenticeships and how they can transform and change lives. As the Marketing Manager of the organisation, at the time, I worked closely with key departments within the business to raise the profile of the organisation and to ensure that key messages were distributed effectively, both internally and externally.I then headed up the Marketing department at another training provider, the Babington Group, where we were tasked with getting the amazing and life changing Apprenticeship message out to young people, parents and businesses alike. In 2017, I re-joined Apprenticeships as a Senior Marketing Executive, focusing on the new (at the time) Apprenticeship Levy and helping our current and prospective clients, both understand the Levy, and utilise it effectively. Within my current role, I have a very hands-on approach with responsibility for the organisation\'s content and PR writing and distribution, fortnightly newsletter communication with our current and prospective Levy clients, organisation of our quarterly Apprenticeship Levy Conferences and also supporting the Account Managers with tenders and presentation materials etc.After working for EPC-Groupe for 9 months as their UK Marketing Manager, I am now delighted to be Marketing Manager for Swish Building Products in Tamworth.“Be a yardstick of quality.
