After restructuring the company as Interim CEO in 2017-18, Rob led the successful merger with Aethon Minerals in December 2018 and became Chairman of the board. While he was Chairman, AbraSilver grew from a $10 million exploration company to a $1 billion company by advancing and growing its Diablillos silver-gold project in Argentina. Rob continues as a director but passed the Chair role to Marie Inkster, former CEO of Lundin Mining, in September 2025.
