ABOUT ROBERT BOR
With more than 30 years experience as a clinical psychologist, executive coach, therapist, trainer, clinical supervisor and scientific author, Rob is one of the UK’s most senior psychologists. He works in corporate, private, NHS and university settings, and is a Director of Dynamic Change Consultants Ltd. Whenever and whomever he consults, Rob is passionate about providing bespoke, individual and tailor-made solutions to human and organisational problems, based on established national clinical and organisational guidelines. His approach respects time commitments and for this reason is focused and solution-oriented. For many years, he was the Lead Consultant Clinical Psychologist at the Royal Free Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, London. Rob’s specialisms include supporting individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents and adults facing a range of problems and challenges throughout life. He also coaches and consults groups and teams in organisations and he has experience of working with the full range of psychological problems. His main therapeutic approaches are cognitive-behavioural, systemic, solution-focused and integrative, though he also has an extensive background in psychodynamic therapy. He is registered as a Clinical, Counselling and Health Psychologist, as well as a Specialist in Aviation Psychology (European Association for Aviation Psychology) and a Systemic Therapist. One specialism he offers is in aviation psychology and provides psychological support and crew well-being services to several UK and international airlines (centreforaviationpsychology.com). Rob’s expertise extends to psychological assessments of pilots and helping aircrew manage intermittent relationships, due to rostering challenges. He has published the key aviation psychology textbooks. Rob offers bespoke psychological treatment for fear of flying.Author of more than 35 textbooks and self-help books, and 250 academic papers, Rob is regularly quoted and interviewed over a range of issues and problems and his expertise sought in medico-legal and complex clinical cases.
