Leading the ex/vivo and in vivo efforts (PK/PD, disease models) for Septerna\'s CNS target drug development. Responsible for all CRO interactions (establishment, selection, follow up) for this target. Leading KOL meetings. Performing due diligence on new target evaluation. Identification, selection, design and optimization of 2nd and 3rd tier cellular assays. Supervision and mentoring of 1 direct report. Responsible for the production of standardized IND-enabling data reports. Work closely with the Medicinal Chemistry Drug discovery team to facilitate pharmacological studies and provide feedback to inform hit-to-lead and lead-op efforts.
