Provide corporate leadership and management of the warehousing and inventory control value stream. Lead coordination between all regions to implement common warehousing and inventory control solutions. Develop and manage relevant standard operating procedures, work instructions and training.Develop and lead a corporate warehousing and inventory control strategy to align site capabilities, tools, and best practices with the Plexus strategy, standards, and customer requirements.Manage site warehousing and inventory control capabilities. Engage on a regular basis with teams at the manufacturing sites in order to both understand issues and provide guidance. Lead deployment of evolutionary capabilities in warehousing, material deployment, and shipping and receiving operations. Compile metrics and conduct assessments to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Ensure improvements are enacted.Provide guidance and leadership to the warehousing and inventory control team and to other areas of the organization that interact with warehousing and inventory control in order to achieve supply chain goals and PLXS enduring goals. Communicate clear objectives within and outside of team to ensure expectations and accountabilities are understood.Develop and lead a process to identify, share and implement best practices across regions. Drive implementation of best practices through management, training and allocation of resources.
