ABOUT RYAN MASON

Most recently, I co-founded Threaded, which is building a tool for optimizing and launching new products. For the prior 2 years, I\'ve been advising Mozart Data as an advisor and investor. It\'s been a good way to keep sharp in the ever changing world of data warehousing. At Lambda School I ran the data team comprised of data engineers, analysts, and data scientists. After data, I ran Platform and Infrastructure Engineering which was responsible for Heroku, AWS, Salesforce, GSuite, Snowflake, etc.Over a span of 7.5 years at Square I worked in all parts of the data world from analysis to databases, software and cloud engineering, ending with a stint on a product security team that handled high qps events. I started in the Bay Area with a statistics masters at Stanford and a few roles focused on analytics (before analytics became data science) at consumer focused startups like Mint.com (Intuit), Playdom (Disney), and 23andMe.
