I am a Senior Regulatory Toxicologist, Chartered Biologist (CBiol) and Pharmacologist with a diversified experience in the industry. As a regulatory toxicologist, I do support the company’s huge portfolio for the product safety and risk assessment of ingredients in cosmetics like Personal care, Oral care & Home care products for all regions (North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific & Europe). Well versed in the safety assessment of final finished products i.e. Complete Product Safety Reports for Cosmetic and OTC products in the Europe region. Also competent in the flavour and fragrance safety assessments for the global use in cosmetics. Overview: Ensure appropriate safety with intended exposure calculations along with risk assessments on ingredients, formulas, packaging materials and medical devices. Prepare, maintain and update Safety Assessments and Complete Product Safety Reports. Generation of California Prop 65 risk assessments. Hazard characterization, data interpretation, and evaluation. Health risk assessments. Permitted Daily Exposure (PDE) calculations. Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements for Product Safety in EU and US. Actively participates and contributes to Product Safety related issues and concerns.
