About R. Leigh Hennig
As Markley\'s Chief Network Architect, I solve problems and design complex networks at scale for the world\'s most sophisticated and demanding of enterprise, government, and research institutions. As an engineer with deep experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining the world\'s largest networks, I work on complex and abstract problems every day. At the Rocky Enterprise Software Foundation, that meant translating the efforts of thousands of users, organizations, and people representing everything from academia to government to special interest toward a common goal in building a community around the next free, open source, community enterprise operating system. Previous specializations include the development of monitoring, alarming, and auto-remedtiaton systems for networks at scale. Throughout my time at AWS, I have helped build the team that delivers and supports Direct Connect and VPN services, growing it from a localized team to a global one across multiple sites. I routinely managed highly visible and sensitive customer escalations for the world\'s largest and most demanding of enterprise customers.
