About R. Lee Walters
I\'m the President of EXCALIBUR Private Investigation, an investigations and consulting firm serving law firms, general counsel, financial institutions, and private individuals with offices in Florida, South Carolina, Colorado, and New Mexico. I also serve as a Neutral Arbitrator with FINRA. I was previously a Legal Investigator developing False Claim Act/Qui tam/Whistleblower and Class Action cases as part of Morgan and Morgan\'s Complex Litigation Unit. My focus was in healthcare, energy, banking, and military defense contracts, as well as all types of class actions with an emphasis on data breach class action cases. I\'m a member of the NHCAA. I served as a federal law enforcement professional with the FBI and have over 33 years experience in fraud and technical investigations, as well as liaison with private industry and other government agencies. In my last role as a Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) with the TOSC, I led, and participated in, covert tactical operations nationwide. Prior to that I was with the Technical Liaison Unit, where I was responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships that enhanced the FBI\'s technical capabilities, addressing technology gaps, providing insight to emerging technologies, and assuring there was ROI on all FBI-funded projects. Additionally I managed industry outreach, forged strategic FBI/corporate partnerships, and fostered liaison with other government agencies. I was one of the original Special Agent\'s assigned to the Whitewater investigation. I was a certified Technically Trained Agent and worked in support of domestic and international investigations directly related to national security issues. I\'ve conducted extensive bank, mortgage, healthcare and corporate fraud investigations and have testified at length in United States District, State and Local courts. I was a member of the FBI\'s National Art Crime Team, Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team and was a certified Firearms and Defensive Tactics Instructor.Specialties: False Claims Act /Qui Tam investigations, Class Action, Industry and Government liaison, Technically Trained Agent, Bank, mortgage, healthcare, money laundering, corporate fraud, and art crime investigations.
