WORK HISTORY
Adjunct Professor, Master\'s Program in Arts Administration @University Of New Orleans
New Orleans, LA, US
The Graduate Program in Arts Administration at the University of New Orleans prepares students for administrative careers within arts organizations, including galleries, museums, concert halls, opera companies, theaters, dance ensembles, auction houses, film societies, festivals, municipal art programs, arts education programs, and community art centers. The curriculum offers elective courses in nonprofit management, business, and the arts, plus required specialized arts administration courses, including development and arts law. The program culminates in a 480-hour internship giving students practical experience in the field. I currently teach three courses for the Arts Administration program: Marketing, Public Relations, and Branding. I have developed curricula for a class in Arts Technology and an industry seminar, both of which I taught for several years. I have also taught a Theatre Overview course and an online course in social media management as part of the Certified Performing Arts Executive program.
