ABOUT ROMAN KRAVCHENKO
I always liked informational systems: precise, impartial, predictable even when exorbitantly complex, a mirror of human ingenuity that created them. Early in my life I understood that the Information Technology will be big part of our life, and that I want to be part of the IT, creating new technologies, applying them to make day-to-day life better, easier, more fun. A goal was set, but path was humpy. I started as a \"computer guy\", fixing anything computer-related in a small office, then tested some software as a QA, provided the internet access to clients as a network engineer, and then a network administrator. Doubled down on it by moving to be a network engineer in Kaspersky\'s Anti-DDoS solution, where later I switched to analyzing existing subsystems and designing new ones. From there I moved to designing new Information Security system and then to designing strategies for new products. You can say I tried everything except actually writing a code, and that will be true, if we omit scripts on bash/perl/python and scores of SQL queries. Now I am working with CloudLinux as Product Owner. Journey continues.
