As a SAFE (Streets Are For Everybody) Ambassador, I represent the Chicago Department of Transportation in its effort to promote its Vision Zero Chicago initiative with a goal of eliminating bicyclist and pedestrian deaths and serious injuries from traffic crashes by 2026. I am part of a team that teaches traffic safety for bicyclists and pedestrians and gives bike riding lessons through presentations and demonstrations to youth and adults at locations all over the City of Chicago including schools, parks and at community events.
