Over 30 years finance/business expertise, primarily in high tech manufacturing, software development and related sales and distribution. This includes SEC regulated multibillion dollar and privately/family held businesses of hundreds of million in annual revenues. The most unique thing about me is, I have a history of transforming finance functions from solely an accounting function to a value added function that provides business insights and strategic partnering across the globe. I, nor my group, succeed unless the business succeeds.    Spellman was established in 1947 and is the world\'s leading independent supplier of precision DC high voltage power supplies, X-Ray generators and Monoblock® X-Ray sources for medical, industrial and scientific applications. Spellman is a global organization with approximately 2,500 employees and manufacturing operations in Hauppauge and Valhalla, New York; Matamoros, Mexico; Bochum, Germany; Pulborough, UK; and Suzhou, China. The company also has pre and post sale support operations in Japan, India and Korea. As Chief Financial Officer, I oversee the Global Finance and Accounting Organizations, including Financial Reporting, Operations Accounting, Treasury and Legal. I am based in the Hauppauge, New York headquarters of the company but travel regularly to the various global operations. I also managed the procurement and facilities functions for over one year of my tenure at Spellman. In my role, I have developed an atmosphere of coaching and mentoring my group with a focus on business partnering and continuous improvement in actionable information, strategic initiatives and profitability. Working with Various financial institutions, I have increased access to additional financing, providing liquidity to support the global expansion needs as well as operational needs of the company. Working with my peer executive leaders, I have lead the process of establishing new legal business entities in China, Singapore and India. By working with my contacts in the financial industry, we were able to obtain additional financing through the COVID-19 pandemic challenges, where we obtained over $5 million of debt forgiveness.
