ABOUT RAMIL KAZIMOV

Ramil graduated from the Bush School of Government and Public Service through the U.S. State Department-funded Fulbright Foreign Student Program, earning a Master\'s degree in International Affairs. He holds a Bachelor\'s degree in International Relations and Regional Studies from Baku Slavic University (Azerbaijan). With over 12 years of combined experience in academic and professional fields, Ramil has worked at embassies, INGOs, and NGOs. He is a seasoned foreign policy analyst with extensive expertise in international affairs and global security, specializing in the South Caucasus, the Middle East, and Russia. He has a proven track record of delivering reports and analyses to senior decision-makers. Proficient in analytic tradecraft, open-source research, and stakeholder engagement, Ramil is passionate about international security and foreign policy analysis, particularly in geopolitical strategy, risk assessment, and policy development. One of the factors that make Ramil unique and enrich his academic and professional background is his achievement of winning three prestigious U.S. State Department-funded full scholarships: the Fulbright Foreign Student Program, the 2020 Edmund S. Muskie Professional Fellowship Program, and the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) Program.He has also completed several political and defense courses, including the European Security and Defense College, the Managing Defense in the Wider Security Context program, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, and the NATO International School of Azerbaijan.
