ABOUT RAMESH KADALI

Advanced Process Control expert with over two decades of experience in industrial automation across oil & gas, SAGD, and mining sectors. I specialize in Advanced Process Control (APC), plant-wide optimization, OT cybersecurity, data analytics, and digitization.Throughout my career, I have led and delivered numerous high-impact projects—many of them first-of-their-kind—resulting in significant business value. At Suncor, I scaled advanced automation from under 20 to over 150 installations, generating $75M+ annually, while reducing water usage by 10% and GHG emissions by 5%. My work has led to 8 patent submissions, and I helped secure $2.28M+ in SRED tax credits for innovation.Through non-authoritative leadership at Plains Midstream, Suncor, Teck Resources, and Sinopec, I built enterprise-wide standards, led multi-million dollar APC projects, and led technical excellence networks like TENT and STEN-PAA. I am also a published author and recipient of multiple President’s Operational Excellence Awards. I built and led high-performing teams. My approach combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, collaboration, and a strong focus on delivering measurable value. I am excited to bring this experience to new challenges and continue driving innovation in process control and optimization.
