My IT career has spanned over 20 years and during this time I have evolved my passion for technology by experiencing it from a multitude of angles across various organizations in a number of industries, most recently in Financial Services (Insurance & Banking). Being a technologist, I have a keen understanding that business solutions are technology agnostic however there is still technology somewhere in the solution and I have a natural passion for using technology to design solutions to business problems and being at the forefront of delivering these solutions by leading teams of people and inspiring success whilst communicating progress and managing stakeholder expectations.My experience extends through a number of technology domains such as ECM & BPM; Integration; Data; Middleware & Infrastructure, leveraging a variety of IT disciplines such as Enterprise Architecture, Support & Service Delivery, Application Performance Management (APM) and adopting industry standards such as Cloud, DevOps, SOA and more recently micro-services.In my current role as VP of Shared Platforms & Technology Services, I lead a large comprehensive team of multi-skilled resources providing Global ECM Platform Management; Transformation into DevOps by adoption of CI/CD techniques; Application Performance Management; Integration Services Design & Delivery and a number additional services such as software maintenance.Previously I was also the Global Lead Enterprise Architect for a multi-million dollar strategic platform leading a team of enterprise, technical and solution architects from within the organization and from delivery partners (onshore & offshore). Within this role I was accountable for the decisions made with respect to the designs and alignment to the strategic roadmap, of which I was also responsible for defining.
