Project Engineer SABRE Safety My background has been in Drilling as well as Subsea Wellhead & Xmas Tree installations before taking on the onshore support roles as Field Coordinator responsible for Personnel & Equipment being ready as and when required for offshore activities. Oil & Gas experience. Aker Solutions as Base Manager in Congo Republic although initially taken on as Rig Coordinator i was asked to take on the role as Base Manager because of my previous experience in Africa. The main tasks were to establish the base set up and recruitment of suitable personnel both ex-pat & Congolese Nationals whilst at the same time supporting the Offshore Drilling operations in readiness for completions and Subsea Manifold installation as well as Topside commissioning. Vendor networking and approval was also an important task that was set up during my time in Congo and this was done in a timely manner to allow for eventualities to be covered by local vendors My background is Subsea Drilling & Completions Installation and latterly have been based onshore as Rig Coordinator & Base Manager. I would consider an offshore or onshore position. I have worked extensively throughout Africa, Angola, Libya, Congo, Gabon, Mauritania and have also worked in China and all sectors of the North Sea basin in both drilling & completion. My roles have been varied dealing directly with the client particularly in the more remote locations and it has been noted in my assessments that i have a can do attitude, i have a determination to get the job done as i understand the urgency of meeting targets and needs for the offshore operations.
