RJ joined HUGHES Telematics as a start-up with thirty people. He helped grow the company to over a thousand employees when it was acquired by Verizon. RJ was responsible for Product Management and launching the Mercedes-Benz mbrace service. He developed several new services including wi-fi Hotspot, in-vehicle apps, Mobile app remote controls, Remote Update of software, diagnostics, and safety services. RJ launched the mbrace 2 platform at CES in 2012 including a Key Note speech from MB\'s CEO. In 2013, he helped Hughes Telematics expand into China and launch the Mercedes-Benz Connect product.
