Broken down, this is what I am responsible for daily: Administratively: Interview all new student employee hires for our office Process the paperwork of these hires Onboard these hires Schedule and publish weekly hours for student employees Oversee all timecards for students Technically: Configure all classroom systems (Cisco, Extron, Dante, Other Audio and Video I/O) Cable management of all classroom podiums and lecterns Configure all BrightSign players Install all new equipment (Including all Extron systems, digital signage, teleconference, and DSP) Configure all food space equipment Configure all multi-purpose spaces Configure all other room spaces (except event, athletic, theater, and music specific spaces except when they use a control system) Configure Cameras on VALT system Install and Manage DirecTV receivers Maintain all configurations and installs of previously stated locations (Approx. 400 locations and thousands of pieces of equipment) Managerially: Oversee the day-to-day operations Oversee the work of student employees Manage the office workspace Oversee employee disciplinary actions Manage customer/client relationships Oversee vendor installs (walking the space from the start and ensuring the quality to the finish). Oversee training of all new hires Manage purchase requests for most new equipment Systems Administratively: Designer, Programmer, Trainer, and Engineer and systems admin for all Extron systems Programmer and Trainer for Cisco Webex Room Kits Designer and Engineer for BrightSign Systems Admin and Engineer for Dante Support for Crestron systems on campus Programmer and Engineer for VALT Contact for DirecTV support Programmer for BiAmp products on campus Support for Level 3 contract in Nursing building
