Working as Senior Fellow and Director, Accelerating Community Investment (ACI). The initiative is focused on ways for local stakeholders in government, civic society and communities to bring new partners to the Community Investment ecoystem across the country.The project will increase the efficacy and impact of philanthropic impact investing portfolios through a combination of field research, convening of leaders in the community investment system, and development of an set of investment opportunities for a range of mission investors.Specifically, ACI will:• Identify high-leverage/high-impact community investment partnership prospects with statewide, regional, and other CDFI and Development Finance and Housing Finance Authority (DFA/HFA) partners. • Build the capacity of a cohort of Development Finance and Housing Finance agencies to be effective partners with CDFIs, philanthropy, and private actors in deploying impact investment capital.• Multiply the leverage and scale of philanthropic and impact investments to more broadly promote prosperity for LMI people. • Convene an investee learning network (DFA/HFAs/CDFIs) to collaborate, build skills and prepare for investment.• Build a pipeline of potential investments in areas including but not limited to housing, economic development, and small business/entrepreneurial support, designed to promote more prosperous places and maximize upward economic mobility of LMI people.
