ABOUT RICHARD KRYSZTOFORSKI

Most workplace training is instantly forgettable. I’ve spent 15 years in Learning & Development figuring out why, and more importantly, how to create learning that actually sticks. The insight is simple but often missed: address people’s needs as shaped by their perspective and context. Not just by skill level, but through the lens of their lived experiences, perspectives, and the history they carry into work. I’ve seen this approach work across contexts, from first-gen college students to legal teams to scaling tech orgs, because learning becomes meaningful when it feels personal.I’m driven by those moments when someone realizes they can do something they didn’t think was possible. Real impact shows up in the stories people tell after a program ends, when growth becomes embedded in how they see themselves at work.My learning design is shaped by personal experience. As a cancer survivor with a rare genetic disorder, I know how invisible challenges shape performance and engagement. That perspective pushes me to build inclusive, psychologically safe learning environments grounded in empathy and connection.I combine instructional design, data, AI, and storytelling techniques honed over 14 years in improv. That improvisational lens brings play and adaptability into the learning process, helping people take risks, learn through mistakes, and grow with confidence. I’ve led digital transformations, built org-wide programs, and translated complex challenges into learning experiences that drive lasting change. If you’re working on learning that stays deeply human and impactful while embracing the opportunities AI brings to scale and personalize development, I’d love to connect.
