About Jack Kisilywicz

Jack\'s passion for mathematics, business, analytics, and finance has driven his journey toward becoming an actuary. During his time at Colby College, he has immersed himself in diverse coursework that taught him to approach problems from various angles, fostering a mindset of comprehensive problem-solving. His actuarial work includes experience analysis and reserves within the medical professional liability sector, honing his technical skills and building a foundation in professional practices and methods. Additionally, he\'s learned the importance of effective communication with stakeholders and optimizing cross-team partnerships to be crucial skills in this field. After serving in roles as a Mathematics Teaching Assistant and Wilderness Trip Leader, Jack has had invaluable opportunities to build leadership skills by educating, collaborating with, and empowering successful groups. Within the campus community, he serves as a leader in the student investment association, building stock-pitch and portfolio analytics teams, and as a co-founder of the Ski and Snowboard club, wherein he works to foster an on-campus community and engagement with the local community.
