Rebekah Jenkins has been painting for over 14 years and was formally introduced to the professional art world in 2006 when she debuted her abstract creations at 2nd Floor Gallery in Harrisburg, PA. Incorporating meaningful commentary through masterfully placed words, and phrasings within her designs, this first showcase featured her ability to combine aweinspiring imagery with equally potent messages of empowerment covering everything from the pursuit of success to spirituality. Her work is most readily identified as the abstract art you immediately “get”, The composition, colors, and lines, summon particular emotions to the forefront and almost absentmindedly invite a range feeling to accompany them. Rebekah’s artistic endeavors highlight her seemingly effortless ability to put a new “spin” on the most expected adaptations of abstract expression.In 2008 Rebekah launched the Culture & Growth series, a collection of vibrant, exclusive canvas art created to transcend boundaries and address the ever-changing landscapes of societal norms, constantly occurring change, and forward progression. This series continues to garner critical acclaim, and encouraged her to explore varied creative paths.Fueled by a desire to exhibit and make available to motivated buyers some of her most impassioned work to-date, Rebekah Jenkins’ abstract art is a medium that can neither be silenced, or muted, especially when so many not only “get it”, they want it, and eagerly anticipate her newest pieces.
