   Lead tester and mentor to an internal adversarial team composed of 8 members across 2 continents.* Create technical and non-technical processes and procedures for Avalara\'s internal adversarial team.* Test and develop tools that aid with cloud-based password cracking, thus saving the Product Security team approximately in initial expenses.* Plan and implement Red Team testing and methodologies including social engineering playbooks and a full Red vs. Blue tabletop exercise.* Build out the testing program including web application security assessments, API security assessments, compliance preparation, and network penetration tests consisting of over 100 engagements.* Plan and implement an annual Capture the Flag (CTF) competition that fosters an environment of teamwork, learning, security awareness, and knowledge sharing.* Implement an external vulnerability disclosure process for 0-day vulnerabilities discovered in 3rd party products. The team found and reported five vulnerabilities (including CVE-20••••94, CVE-20••••95, and CVE-20••••96) in the first year.
