About Jason MacLeod

As a licensed professional engineer in several states I have been engaged in the T&D industry at since graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2007 and joining Burns & McDonnell. I have been focused on electric substations ranging in voltages from 33-kV to 500-kV. This industry continues to excite me and challenge me to grow as we continue to innovate and find sustainable solutions for our clients and their customers. My responsibilities quickly grew to include project management. I have lead numerous complex design projects and been a key team member of some of our largest and most complex major programs. I have managed multiple clients teams and as well as accounts. I also a member of Cigre, helped found the US Next Generation Network, and am a part of the A3 Study Committee (Transmission & Distribution equipment). I have recently take over over the role as Substation Project Execution Manager at Burns & McDonnell where I am supervising our substation project managers, as well as mentoring and developing the project leadership teams to manage and execute projects successfully for our clients. In this role I am responsible for managing the day-to-day substation business and meeting client expectations.
