Head of Finance / Financial Controller Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Compliance:• Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS or UK GAAP.• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management and external stakeholders.• Coordinate and lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.Budgeting & Forecasting:• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to align financial plans with business objectives.• Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.Cash Flow & Treasury Management:• Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.• Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize working capital.Team Leadership & Development:• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.• Provide guidance and support to the FP & A team, ensuring alignment with financial goals.• Collaborate with shared finance teams across international locations, ensuring consistency and efficiency in financial operations.Strategic Financial Planning, Internal Controls & Risk Management:• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.• Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team based on financial analysis and insights.• Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.• Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
