About Rizqy Apolianto
I’m Rizqy Apolianto, a Penn State Aerospace Engineering graduate (May 2025) and currently a Junior Engineer at Unical Aviation. I’m passionate about aviation and driven to continuously learn and take on new challenges in the aerospace industry.At Unical, I primarily support structural component repair, taking ownership of parts from evaluation through repair development, while helping expand in-house repair and tooling capabilities.Previously, I gained hands-on experience through two summer internships at Atlas Air, working on aircraft systems and interiors, creating AutoCAD technical drawings, developing passenger layouts, and supporting engineering orders and reports. I also contributed to structural design projects with the SAE Aero Design Team.I held leadership roles as Asian Culture Chair for SASE and Merchandise Captain for THON, and I’m a former Team Indonesia figure skater, an experience that shaped my discipline, resilience, and ability to perform under pressure.I’m excited to continue building my career in aviation and supporting safe, efficient aircraft operations.
