   Datadog

   Feb 2023 — Present

   Driving the Performance and Reliability charter for Datadog\'s Authentication front-end service, with enhancements such as throttling, rate-limiting, connection pool management, service-to-service parameter tuning, and backend database optimizations. So far, these efforts cut the frequency of incidents due to spiky workloads and DDoS from weekly to biannually, elevating service reliability and availability from 99.99% to As Datadog scaled, multiple teams developed disparate authentication mechanisms, introducing potential security risks. To mitigate these, I am currently leading efforts to architect a unified authentication system across the services and various use-cases, establishing a single source of truth and significantly enhancing security as the company grows.
