About Riya Shah
I am a current junior at the University of Maryland, College Park studying Information Systems and Marketing in the Robert H. Smith school of business. I am looking forward to finding career opportuntities that align with my major and allow me to gain experience in these fields. In the past I have worked as a Marketing and Business Development Intern which allowed me to explore different fields of marketing and realize my true passion for it. I found myself constantly being surrounded with tasks that required creative expression and along with efficient teamwork. I have also worked as a sales associate which has taught me a lot about customer service and how important it is to stay organized while working. At the University of Maryland, I am apart of the Justice and Legal Thought Scholars program. This program has been extremely beneficial, as it has been diversiyfing my perspectives on issues. It has been useful because I have improved my communication skills and can formulate more thorough arguments through what I have learned.
