About Riya Ismail

I’m a UX designer with an untraditional background in HR/recruiting operations. I started in the healthcare industry, where I specialized in uncovering bottlenecks within the recruitment system process and providing efficient solutions that made our applicant tracking system easier for recruiters, employees and external candidates. I was able to transition into the UX department while taking a UX design course with CareerFoundry. My users were healthcare professionals and consumers suffering from various disease states. Now, I work in the financial services sector as a Sr. User Experience Designer with the channels team where I simplify and enhance our core servicing experience for almost 80 million digital users. My goal is to design seamless and intuitive digital experiences that reach a wide variety of users.
