ABOUT RIYA DHANANI

Hello there, I am Riya Dhanani, a Global Business Management student. I was born and bought up in India, where I pursued my Bachelors in Business Administration. Pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, my academic journey has equipped me with a solid foundation in strategic management, organizational behavior, and project planning. I am enthusiastic about applying theoretical knowledge to real-world business scenarios. Post my graduation I have worked for a subsidy of Anthem Inc, where I got a chance to explore my career professionally. A year down working in the tech Industry I realised that I was more passionate about management roles, where in I get chance to network with different people and my abilities were beyond what I had restricted myself to which led me to take the decision of moving to Canada in 2022. I choose the Global Business Management course as it provides a pathway to a dynamic and multifaceted career. It equips with skills and knowledge that are not only relevant in today\'s globalized economy but also valuable for personal and professional development.My first job in Canada was in a call centre - Global Faces Direct, where I worked for a short period of 3 months, after which I moved to Provincial Smart Home services as a full- time employee in November 2022 as a Client Relationship Specialist, alongside my full-time studies. A year down in the company, I was promoted to a Team leader. My leadership style is results-oriented. I believe in setting clear objectives, monitoring progress, and implementing strategies to adapt to evolving challenges. This approach has consistently translated into successful outcomes and a motivated team.I\'m excited to connect with fellow students, professionals, and mentors passionate about business and leadership.
