ABOUT RIYA SHIKHA

I am Riya Shikha, a young professional with a Master\'s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. I am eager to contribute my skills and expertise to an organization that values growth and mutual success.During my internship as a Hospital Pharmacist at District Hospital, Siwan, I gained valuable experience in prescription handling, medicinedispensing, studying patient operation charts, drug storage, and different routes of administration.My educational background includes a Bachelor\'s degree in Pharmacy from the Institute of Pharmacy Technology, Cuttack, where I achieved a remarkable CGPA of 9.55. Master\'s degree inPharmaceutical Chemistry at Banasthali Vidyapeeth in Rajasthan, where I achieved a CGPA of 8.85.I have been actively involved in various projects that have contributed to the advancement of pharmaceutical research. One of my notable projects involved the synthesis, characterization, molecular docking, and in-vitro evaluation of thymol congeners. I utilized various techniques such as chemdraw, in-silico studies, moleculardocking, and in-vitro assays to assess the antioxidant and antimicrobial properties of the synthesized compounds. Additionally, I have done a project on evaluating the molecular inclusion of azole antifungals by beta cyclodextrin using a computational molecular approach. Through these projects, I demonstrated my ability to conduct research, analyze data, and draw meaningful conclusions.I have also achieved recognition for my academic and extracurricular accomplishments. I qualified the GPAT in 2022 and was honored with the \"Justice Jugal Kishore Mohanty Award\" for securing the highest marks in the university.In terms of skills, I possess expertise in various software and tools such as MS Office, ChemDraw, Discovery Studio, Argus Lab, Autodock,Chimera, MNOVA, and Origin Lab. I am well-versed in conducting literature reviews using platforms like Google Scholar, Sci-hub,ResearchGate, Science Direct, SwissADME, ProtoxII, MolSoft, and Molinspiration. Additionally, I have hands-on experience withpurification techniques such as recrystallization and column chromatography, as well as proficiency in handling laboratory instruments like IR, NMR, UV, autoclave, and microplate readers.
