About Riya Goyal
I leverage the synergy of advanced mathematics, computer science, and visionary leadership to design transformative systems to solve real-world problems. As a PhD student in Applied Math and a CS and Math Honors Grad, I’ve led research in AI, complex networks, and healthcare technology - while serving as an NJ Governor’s STEM Scholar, Research Assistant and InfoSec Analyst. My mission is to bridge theory and innovation, creating ethical, scalable solutions that drive global change. My journey blends rigorous academic achievement with hands-on impact. Graduating Summa Cum Laude with two B.S. degrees, three minors, and honors/program distinctions, I’ve designed graph algorithms, developed AI-driven tools for healthcare, and led interdisciplinary teams to tackle complex challenges. Whether presenting at national conferences, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, or securing enterprise systems, I approach each challenge with the same mindset: solve with depth, lead with vision, and scale with purpose. As I begin my PhD, I am excited to explore new frontiers - particularly in AI, optimization, FinTech, and complex systems and to connect disciplines in ways that create solutions with lasting societal impact. I believe the future belongs to those who can merge advanced mathematics, human-centered design, and emerging technologies to address the world’s most pressing challenges.Let’s connect if you’re building at the intersection of AI, applied mathematics, or global-impact innovation.
