About Rixuan Zheng
As a CS student at Northeastern University, I am passionate about creating innovative and user-friendly mobile applications that solve real-world problems. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences, where I have learned various programming languages, frameworks, and tools, such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git/GitHub. I have also gained valuable hands-on experience through two co-op positions at Ginger Labs and SimpliSafe, where I worked on the development of the Notability and SimpliSafe mobile apps for iOS and Android platforms, respectively. I utilized Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin, and the MVVM design pattern to implement new features, fix bugs, and improve the performance and usability of the apps. I collaborated with cross-functional teams, followed agile methodologies, and adhered to best practices and standards. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to a new grad position upon graduation in May of 2024.
