Hi, I’m Guy Rivers (he/him), a career coach, systems nerd, and DEI award winner who’s helped hundreds of marginalized folks navigate work without shrinking themselves to fit.I got into career coaching the way a lot of us start things: out of urgency. During the pandemic, I watched a wave of burned-out teachers (like I used to be) try to leave the classroom with no idea where to go. So I started helping. I offered free coaching, rewrote resumes, researched career paths, and held space for people navigating huge transitions. That work led to me winning the Mile High SHRM DEI Champion of the Year Award. But honestly? That wasn’t the point.The point has always been to help brilliant people build lives they don’t have to dissociate from.As a trans and neurodivergent person, I know what it’s like to get told you’re “too much” or “not professional enough” when what you actually need is clarity, structure, and a little grace.
