ABOUT NICOLAS RIVERA

Industrial Engineer with more than four years of experience in business consulting and strategic project management across multiple industries in Latin America. Lived in five different countries (Colombia, Ecuador, USA, Austria, and Germany) and speaks four languages: Spanish, English, Portuguese, and German. I started my career as an internal consultant and project management analyst for a private equity portfolio company in the financial sector, where our main objective was to support projects that grew the company\'s EBITDA. In this role, I had the opportunity to carry out various tasks that involved complex data analysis paired with effective communication to make things happen. Among the most outstanding projects I was involved in were: M&A processes, strategic planning, pricing definition, restructuring of the commercial performance model, and cost reduction initiatives. In 2017 I moved to strategic consulting, where I undertook projects for the automotive, banking, and retail industries in areas such as strategic planning, M&A, financial valuation, and business models definition and execution. I have contributed my passion, expertise, and knowledge throughout my career to help companies solve their problems and achieve their objectives by identifying their challenges and providing insightful advice and recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis. Upon completing Manheim’s MBA program in October 2021, I seek to join a fast-growing company with a customer-centric approach and focus on finding workable solutions for clients in the areas of business consulting, corporate finance, real estate investment, or financial business controlling.
